Attention to shoppers, the wait is over.

This morning at 8 am one of the nations largest off- price retailers opened its doors.

T-J Maxx will not only add a new shopping option for locals, they will also be adding 60 full and part time jobs to the area.

The new T-J Maxx also donated five thousand dollars to the Kids Aid program this morning, the store plans on hosting annual in-store fundraising for local programs such as Autism Speaks.

With more than 15 thousand designer and brand names to choose from, locals didn't hesitate getting to the doors early.

Andrea Malta and her mother Grace were excited about the grand opening. The ladies said, “Denver is too far so now we have here. Yes, we’re so happy the store is here. We've been waiting for this day, and I said well we have to go in the store because they have very nice stuff.”

This location is just one of 50 new stores opening this year throughout the country. TJ Maxx is located at the Grand Mesa Center.
