Residents of swanky Snowmass Village, home to many stars and celebrities, now have the option of free television service.
Pitkin County has installed $60,600 worth of transmitter equipment and it's now ready for prime time.
Until now, Snowmass Village residents have only been able to get television by subscribing to a private service such as DirectTV or Comcast.
According to the Aspen Times (http://bit.ly/MJxuMm ), county officials say Snowmass Village residents deserve the same coverage as other county taxpayers.
