Suspect sought after soldier killed in Colorado

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

A murder warrant has been issued for a 17-year-old juvenile police believe killed a soldier from Moorpark, Calif., and his wife.

According to KRDO-TV, Police say 17-year-old Macyo Joelle January is wanted for 1st-degree murder. He's described as a black man, 5'5 with a thin build, black hair and a scar near his right eye. Police said January should be considered armed and dangerous.
    
Colorado Springs police said earlier 37-year-old David Dunlap and 35-year-old Whitney M. Butler were shot by a burglar when they returned to their home at about noon on Monday.

The Army says Dunlap was a staff sergeant in the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade at Fort Carson outside Colorado Springs. His specialty was repairing armament, electrical and avionic systems on Apache helicopters. He joined the Army in 2003 and arrived at Fort Carson in November.
    
He deployed to Iraq in 2007-08.
