Denver firefighters rescued a suicidal man who forced the closure of a theme park when he climbed a ride.
KCNC-TV reports (http://goo.gl/jprDd ) that the man climbed 60 feet up on a ride called the "Sidewinder" at Elitch Gardens. The television station reports that the man climbed a fence to enter the park at about 8 a.m. Monday.
Firefighters distracted the man and grabbed him at about 1 p.m. The park was closed until 3 p.m.
