Some Central High School students have been busy working like Santa's elves making toys for families in need.
It's the "28th Annual Christmas Give-A-Way" at Fruita Middle School.
For the past month students in Mr. Reed’s tech class have created toys out of wood for the annual toy Give-A-Way.
Every student in the tech class was assigned to design a toy.
After an elimination process four toy designs were picked to be created for mass production.
The class is pleased with this years turn out of 305 toys.
Students say they feel lucky to be part of a charity that gives to children in need.
“I actually really enjoyed doing this, it was a lot of fun for me I'm glad i got to contribute I actually have some family that would benefit from this so it feels really nice," said Onieka, a High School Senior.
All the toys will be available at the Christmas Give-A-Way for low income families at Fruita middle school this Saturday at 6 pm.
