PEAR PARK, Colo. -

Firefighters are investigating a series of explosions at a property in Pear Park where a shed and a camper were destroyed in a fire Wednesday afternoon.

Officials say the fire sparked at around 1:30 pm inside the camper before wind quickly spread the flames to the shed.

A series of explosions ensued, but crews were able to work fast and get a handle on the blaze.

Three different fire departments responded to the fire where firefighters were forced to use two engines and hundreds of feet of hose to pump water from the closest hydrant.

Officials estimate at least $4,000 to $5,000 worth of damage was caused. They are still working to determine what started the fire.

No one was injured.
