The Denver district attorney has charged a man with sexually assaulting his step-daughter and an arrest warrant has been issued for the victim's mother accused of participating in the assaults.
Authorities say the step-father was charged Wednesday with sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust and aggravated incest. He is being held on $100,000 bond. The girl's mother is accused of taking part in the assaults.
The charges allege that they began sexually assaulting the girl when she was 12 years old and the assaults continued through 2011.
