Stabbing victim walks to hospital
The Grand Junction Police Department was called to a stabbing early Tuesday morning.
According to police, the stabbing happened at 1140 Walnut Avenue just after 3:00 a.m.
The stabbing victim was identified as a 22-year-old man from Grand Junction.
Police said it was reported that the victim walked across the street to Community Hospital after being stabbed. He was then transferred to St. Mary's Hospital.
The injury didn't appear to be life threatening, according to authorities.
The Grand Junction Police Department continues to investigate, KJCT will have more information once it becomes available.
