The Colorado State Patrol was called to a semi truck rollover around 3:00 a.m. Friday on I-70.
According to troopers, a semi truck was traveling westbound in Glenwood Canyon about a mile east of Hanging Lake Tunnel when the driver hit a guardrail, rolling the truck.
The truck blocked both westbound lanes of the highway.
One westbound lane was reopened at 6:00 a.m. after crews were able to investigate the crash and clean the road.
Both westbound lanes of I-70 are expected to be open at 12:00 p.m. Friday, according the the Colorado State Patrol.
The driver of the semi, 37-year-old Matthew Wilson, is from Westminster.
He was taken to Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs for minor injuries, according to authorities.
Wilson was issued a citation for careless driving.
