Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's campaign has opened its Colorado headquarters in the Denver suburb of Lakewood.
Republican National Committee spokeswoman Ellie Wallace says the campaign has been working with the RNC and the state party for months and continues to build field operations in counties across Colorado.
Colorado has become an important swing state that could decide who wins the White House in November.
Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum won the state's GOP presidential caucuses in February but has since dropped out of the race.
