Rocks tumble off Bookcliffs toward interstate
A rock slide was triggered on the Little Bookcliffs Thursday evening near I-70 at Palisade.
It was first reported at about 5:40 pm near mile-marker 42 on the interstate. Police say it did not reach I-70.
Authorities are not sure what caused the slide, but there are no records of any earthquakes in the area.
