Robbery and assault at OM Smoker Friendly

ORCHARD MESA, Colo. -

On Saturday, December 29, 2012 at about 1857 hours, the Grand Junction Police Department was dispatched to Smoker Friendly, 2692 Hwy 50 reference a reported robbery. Once on scene an employee reported being struck by a single male suspect inside of the business. The suspect presented a knife and demanded money. The suspect took an unspecified amount of cash and left the business. The employee was not injured. The suspect in this case was described as;

Possibly a white male in his 30’s, 6’0”, approximately 170lbs, wearing a dark colored coat with a hoodie covering his head.

This incident is currently under investigation.
