Reported stabbing near Connected Lakes area

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -

Two males were transported to St. Mary's Hospital on Saturday after a reported stabbing near the Connected Lakes area.

Mesa County sheriff officials say dispatch received a call reporting the stabbing at Dike Road and D 3/4 Road just after 4 PM.                                                                                                                         

Officials said one male sustained a knife injury.

The Grand Junction Police Department, the Mesa County Sheriff's Office and the Fire Department were all on scene.

The condition of the males is unknown.

Officials are currently examining the scene and are not releasing any other information at this time as it's an ongoing investigation.
