Many will take advantage of the spring-like temperatures this week, but there are some road repairs you should know about if you plan on going to one particular park in Grand Junction.
Directors with Grand Junction Parks & Recreation want to let the public know about some road and sidewalk construction taking place this week.
They said there will be limited access to Lincoln Park to repair roads, curbs and gutters, and concrete walkways at park entrances from Monday, March 11 through Friday, March 15.
The entrance on Gunnison Avenue will be closed.
The repairs shouldn't impact drivers entering the park from 12th Street, but traffic exiting the park on 12th Street will be detoured to the north side of the Lincoln Park Barn, according to city officials.
