Routt County residents are forming a coalition to oppose a proposed Indian casino near Hayden.
Opponents say a casino would hurt the Yampa Valley's image as a family vacation destination. The group also says most new jobs would pay low wages and taxpayers would have to pay for access improvements.
According to Steamboat Today (http://goo.gl/yYHXf), casino backers say most of the complaints are unfounded and opponents only represent a small minority in the community.
