Presidential candidates spend time in Colorado
Road closures expected for debate
Anyone who will be on the Front Range should be warned about road closures within the metro area.
For the event, Interstate 25 will be closed in both directions. C-DOT is advising drivers to take alternate routes between 5 and 10PM. Detours will be in place to give drivers access to neighborhoods and other areas. For a complete list of detours or for the most up to date delays check out C-DOT's website by clicking here.
Tonight, Mitt Romney is back in Colorado. He'll be at a victory rally event at Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum in Denver. The doors are already open to the public, and will close by 6:45PM. The event itself begins at 7:15PM.
Mitt's wife, Ann Romney, is set to speak in Littleton tomorrow. She'll be at the Hudson Gardens and Event Center. This speech marks her first public rally for her husband in Colorado this year. The rally is scheduled for 2:50 p.m. Doors open at noon.
Finally, President Obama will be sticking around after the debate to attend a grassroots event on Thursday. He will speak at Sloan's Lake Park in Denver. Doors will open at 7:30 in the morning. The event is free and open to the public but tickets are required for entrance. To learn more, click here.
Colorado is a swing state in this election and the candidates are making sure the Centennial State is getting enough attention.
