GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -

Powderhorn Mountain Resort is getting hammered with snow Tuesday morning. Officials said they're getting about 3" of snow an hour.

General Manager Daren Cole said, starting at 5:00 a.m., the resort received 17 inches of snow in 5 and a half hours.

Cole said Powderhorn has seen 19 inches of snow in the past 24 hours, and 56 inches in the past 7 days.

The base currently sits at 77 inches, according to Cole.

Powderhorn officials invite you to partake in the winter wonderland if you have the opportunity today.

But they expect conditions to remain excellent throughout the week.
