Overnight breaking news out of Clifton.

Seargent Marco Martez with the Mesa County Sheriffs Department tell us at 1:00 a.m. Tuesday morning a man was slashed in the pants with a knife in his own front yard.

This happened on Fox Run in Clifton.

Sergeants tell us the wound is superficial and the man hasn't been taken to the hospital. Officers are still looking for the man responsible.
