A popular substance abuse class has filled up, but you still have another chance to attend.

Crime-stoppers and the Sheriffs office provide the class geared towards teaching parents the dangers of synthetic drugs.

The next class at the end of the month is full, but due to the popularity, another session has been added February fifth.

The class will have actual drugs on display, confiscated from past drug busts.

The class will focus on teaching teens and parents about next generation drugs, what they look like, and how they're packaged.

Williams said, "Our big thing is to give parents as many tools as we can to be able to recognize these things, because of the packaging...the way these things are marketed for kids, parents will completely miss it if they don't know what they're looking for. So you may have a package with Scooby-doo on the front of it, and that's drugs."

Williams adds the class may have a lot of impact, as it shows videos of teens abusing synthetic drugs and how it affects them.

Teens and parents are encouraged to attend together.

The classes take place at the city hall auditorium at 250 North 5th Street
