Police notify public of sexually violent predator
Chad Heiden moving to community corrections
Grand Junction police are notifying the community about a sexually violent predator that has moved to the city.
According to a release, Chad Wesley Heiden has moved into Community Corrections at 650 South Avenue.
Police say Heiden registered his move appropriately.
State law requires police to inform the community when a sexually violent predator moves to the area.
An informational presentation will be shown on Mesa County Cable Channel 12 on Thursday at 7:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
