COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

Authorities say they began investigating an Army officer in a series of child-enticement cases after police saw him driving a vehicle matching the description given by children who reported the incidents.
    
The Colorado Springs Gazette reported Wednesday (http://tinyurl.com/ahul66j ) that 1st Lt. Aaron G. Lucas was arrested Oct. 23 after several girls gave similar accounts to police in the town of Fountain.
    
Lucas is from Alabama and is assigned to Fort Carson, near Fountain. His hometown wasn't released.
    
Authorities say they have been investigating Lucas in connection with incidents involving 15 girls in the area beginning in June 2010.
    
The 31-year-old was arrested on at least 20 counts including sexual assault on a child, kidnapping, enticement and indecent exposure. He's free on bond.
    
His lawyer didn't immediately return a phone call.
