Pedestrian killed in Clifton train accident
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a train vs. pedestrian accident on the railroad tracks east of Clifton.
The call came in at about 6:00 pm Tuesday. Police spent hours on the scene collecting evidence for a death investigation.
Authorities are not identifying the victim because they say they could not. The Mesa County Coroner's Office is working to determine that information along with the cause and manner of death.
Police are not considering this a suspicious death.
