A Palisade man on the run suspected of sexually assaulting a young girl during her music lessons is behind bars; and he's caught right here, on the Western Slope.
The FBI says tips from the public led them to the arrest of James Tiner.
Tiner allegedly had at least four sexual encounters with the victim, who visited his home for music lessons in Palisade.
Investigators say they also found multiple videos and photographs inside Tiner's home that allegedly show the victim in the nude and performing sexual acts with him.
We first ran this story earlier this week, and tips from the public helped lead to his arrest.
An FBI spokesman said police at the New Castle police department received tips regarding the possible location of Tiner late Friday.
A few hours later, officers from that department spotted Tiner and his vehicle, and made the arrest.
Tiner is being held without bond in the Garfield County Detention Facility.
