Pace makes final campaign stops in Western CO.
Local candidates are firing up their campaign efforts. On Saturday Sal Pace, Democratic candidate for Colorado’s Third Congressional District, made his final stops on the Western Slope before Election Day.
He says the race is in a statistical tie and its voters on our side of the state that will determine the winner.
Over the next four days he says he'll be campaigning stronger than ever.
Win or lose, Pace say's he'll have no regrets after the results are in.
“We are proud of the positive campaign that we've run,” Pace said. “When we win, we are going to work in a bipartisan fashion. We are going to work with people whether they voted for me or not and whether they're in red counties or blue counties.”
From energy development to tax and spend issues, Pace and his opponent, Congressman Scott Tipton, share a lot of common ground. Still, Pace says he'd be better at listening to the public.
