PALISADE, Colo. -

One lane of traffic is back open this morning for I-70 westbound. The interstate was closed near Palisade on Tuesday night.

As of Wednesday morning, police are still investigating a crashed semi-truck.

According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, the accident happened around 9:30 pm at mile-marker 44. CDOT described the situation as an "overturned crane."

Our photographer on the scene tells us that traffic was backed up nearly five miles.

Officials say there is no estimated time for the highway to fully re-open.
