Her two little boys were left unattended in a car where temperatures likely reached over 130º.

Though the deaths were ruled accidental, Heather Jensen was arrested in Florida on Wednesday.

24-year-old Jensen is willingly heading to Mesa County to face some serious charges. Two counts of child abuse resulting in death, two counts of criminally negligent homicide and one charge of lying to authorities.

"When Heather Jensen got arrested it was a relief," former neighbor, Heidi Ratfaeli, said.      

Several people who knew the young Jensen boys, two-year-old William and four-year-old Tyler, hoped this day would come.

"We all miss them. Its going to be tough for a while but knowing that justice is being dealt with for the boys, we're all going to be able to grieve easier," Ratfaeli said.

Melissa Cross has two boys the same age and they all use to play together.

She started a Facebook page to remember them and held a candlelight vigil after they died.

She says she's glad to see their mother, Heather Jensen brought to justice.

"They say it may have been an accident, but in my opinion you’re a mother of your kids,” Cross said. “You should never leave your kids in your vehicle for any amount of time. To me that is child abuse. She should have known better."

According to the arrest report, Jensen lied to authorities on several accounts, including how long Tyler and William were in the vehicle alone.

She also admits to having an affair in a truck parked beside her boys while they over heated and later died.

For security purposes, authorities aren't saying when Jensen will be back in Mesa County, but when she arrives she'll be facing a judge and serious charges.
