GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -

If you're looking to explore more of Western Colorado, park rangers at the Colorado National Monument may be able to help.

During January and February, they're hosting Hikes for Health.

It’s happening every Wednesday and Saturday from 10am until 1pm.

Each week the program is checking out a new trail.

Education ranger Briana Board, says, “The whole idea is just to get out and improve your health with going for a hike.”

If you're interested in attending a Hike for Health you do have to pre-register.
