The Naturita man who was shot by a Montrose County sheriff's deputy after being pulled over on Highway 145 has been released from the hospital and jail.
Tryllen Richards, 32, was arrested on Thursday, February 7, following a traffic stop in western Montrose County.
He's being charged with assault in the first degree, felony menacing and speeding, according to authorities.
Richards was taken to the Montrose County Jail on Saturday, after receiving treatment at a medical facility for his wound.
Deputies said he posted bail and was released from jail later that same day.
The incident is still under review by the Colorado Bureau of Investigations.
