There's a lot excitement surrounding Paul Ryan's visit to CMU.

Even though the event isn't until tomorrow, dozen's of volunteers were on campus today getting ready and showing off their support.

Mesa County republicans, Romney-Ryan supporters, and others were outside the Maverick pavilion this afternoon.

They're making welcome signs for the vice presidential candidate.

It’s an effort they say will help boost energy during tomorrow's event.

Ellie Wallace, Colorado Representative for the Republican National Committee said,

“It builds a lot of enthusiasm, we've got a great support base and volunteer base out here so we're excited to have their help making signs today and you can look for them in the audience tomorrow.”

On Monday Paul Ryan will attend three victory events in Colorado.

Ryan will be coming to Grand Junction after his 11 o'clock appearance in pueblo and 2-30 event in Durango.

He'll be attending a local debate watch party at Colorado Mesa University.

Doors will open at 3 PM and the event starts at 6 PM.

Tickets are required for the event... they can be picked up at the mesa county victory center off 1st street and north avenue starting Monday at 9 a-m.
