Megan is KJCT News 8's Weekday Anchor

Megan joins the KJCT News 8 team from KGAN in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. While in Iowa, she anchored the noontime news, and helped launch a 2- hour morning newscast as well.

Megan's in-depth investigative stories have won her numerous awards including a regional Edward R. Murrow and regional Emmy nomination for exposing dangerous levels of formaldehyde in FEMA provided mobile homes.

She has covered a number of news events that garnered national attention including the historical floods in Eastern Iowa and the Iowa Caucuses. Megan has conducted many personal interviews with some of the nation's most important figures and decision makers, including 2008 Presidential Candidates John McCain and Hillary Clinton.

She has previously worked as an Editorial Assistant for the KNBC 4 Evening News Team which serves the greater Los Angeles area. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Television Production from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University in Orange, California.

Megan is looking forward to the change from chasing tornadoes in Iowa to getting to enjoy the nice weather and gorgeous scenery on the Western Slope.

Megan is also a leap year baby. She only has one birthday every four years, but that does not stop her from celebrating!
