Man sentenced in GJ catalytic converter thefts
The local man who admitted his role in stealing catalytic converters in Grand Junction and Montrose was sentenced Monday.
Brandon Burke, 19, will spend the next ten years under strict supervision and has been ordered to pay $47,698.00 in fines and restitution to the victims.
He pleaded guilty to one charge of Criminal Mischief earlier this year as part of a plea deal. Police say he stole eight converters from Grand Junction and Montrose car lots.
