Man held at gunpoint during robbery
Police still looking for suspect
A gas station clerk had a gun pulled on him during a robbery over the weekend and the suspect is still on the loose.
Grand Junction police were called to the Bradley Sinclair gas station at 201 North Avenue just after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The suspect's described as a black man in his early 30's with a medium build and facial hair. Witnesses believe he is around 5'5".
According to authorities, the man threatened the clerk with a handgun and demanded money from the register.
The gunmen then left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
He was wearing dark pants and a white-hooded sweatshirt with writing on it, witnesses reported.
Nobody was injured during the robbery and the investigation is ongoing.
