Man crashes stolen car into train
A man is arrested after stealing a woman's car and colliding it with a train around midnight.
The Grand Junction Police Department said 27 year old David Goebel got on the railroad tracks traveling westbound on Friday night, where he swerved to avoid the train.
The train took the passenger side of the car off.
Shortly after the incident he was found and taken into custody.
Goebel was leaving Infinity nightclub in Clifton, and police say they suspect alcohol to be a factor.
The train was undamaged.
This case is still under investigation.
