Man arrested in Montrose shooting
A Naturita man has been arrested in connection with a shooting during a traffic stop in Montrose County.
According to the Montrose County Sheriff's Office, 32-year-old Tryllen Richards is being charged with assault in the first degree and felony menacing.
The incident happened last Thursday after Richards was pulled over on Highway 145.
Richards ended up getting shot once by a Montrose County sheriff's deputy.
The Montrose County Sheriff's Office isn't releasing additional information regarding the incident at this time.
Officials said Richards will be formally charged and booked into jail once he's released from the hospital.
