A man is dead after losing control of and crashing his car on I-70 Business Loop Sunday morning.

It happened around 1:00 am just east of 28 Road.

The Colorado State Patrol says the 34-year-old driver of this 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier lost control before falling out. The man was then pinned and dragged underneath the car until it crashed into a curb and stopped.

Troopers suspect alcohol as a factor and say the driver was not wearing a seat-belt. His identity has not been released.

No one else was injured, but CSP is reminding drivers to always buckle up.
