A dangerous and evolving situation is underway just west of Pueblo in the town of Wetmore, where the entire town is being evacuated as a result of a rapidly spreading wildfire.
The fast-moving fire has burned at least a dozen structures and prompted evacuations of more than three hundred homes.
At least 2 homes have been burned, and the flames are being fanned by strong, gusty winds, including one gust that peaked at 79mph in the area just before 1pm Tuesday.
Initial reports suggest the fire began as a structure fire that quickly spread to nearby areas of dry brush and grass.
The flames have spread to around 600-700 acres.
