Last minute preparations are being made as we wait for Ryan's appearance, and supporters were getting a last chance to get in line.

Romney-Ryan supporters purchased their tickets early this morning for the event, making sure they got a chance to show there support for Paul Ryan and his running mate, Mitt Romney.

“I'm looking forward to seeing business built up, throughout the U.S. here in Grand Junction” said Romney-Ryan supporter Geoff Kelley.

Many locals in Grand Junction say they believe the Republican Party has the majority of votes in the area.

The energy on campus grew as the gap between the polls got smaller and smaller.

To fire up voters and support his running mate, Paul Ryan appeared on stage at CMU at 6:00.
