Local school receives $50K from USDA
Paradox Valley School will receive $85K more in near future
Food safety is on the upswing at one western Montrose County school.
The Paradox Valley School recently received $50,000 in competitive grant money from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development Program.
The money will be used to help the school overcome recent safety issues that have cropped up due to old kitchen equipment.
The School is also expected to receive approximately $85,000 in additional grant money in the near future.
