PALISADE, Colo. -

Coordinators for the 5th annual Palisade Bluegrass & Roots Music Festival have announced this year's musical lineup.

The festival runs the weekend of June, 14 through June, 16.

Friday night will showcase Colorado musicians, Saturday will feature a blend of genre-bending Americana music that mix with influences beyond bluegrass, and Sunday will feature artists with styles based on more traditional bluegrass, according to event organizers.

Some of the critically acclaimed and award winning artists that will be making the trip to Palisade this year include, The Devil Makes Three and Justin Townes Earle.

Some additional Americana acts performing at the festival are Joy Kills Sorrow, Pokey LaFarge, The Haunted Windchimes, Paper Bird, Truckstop Honeymoon, James Reams and the Barnstormers, The Brothers Comatose, Waiting on Trial and The Drunken Hearts.

Coordinators are offering early bird discounted tickets until May 31st.

Mesa County residents get an additional discount by using the code MESA13 when purchasing tickets.
