Two men arrested for stealing MMJ from a home
Sheriffs tell KJCT News 8 that they were in the right place at the right time on Thursday night.
According to the arrest affidavit, while finishing a report in the 2900 block of Patterson Road, law enforcement was able to nab two men.
The two subjects admitted to stealing medical marijuana from the backyard of a house on Hudson Bay Dr.
The affidavit says the two men were caught stealing by the homeowner and fled from the scene.
The officer who found them saw them running and was able to stop them.
A bag of marijuana was found valued at $250.00 meaning the same value of damage was cause to the plant.
Twenty-five year old Matthew Miller was arrested and booked into the Mesa County Jail on multiple charges.
