KMSA raffle offers free tuition
KMSA is selling $5 raffle tickets to win 12 credit hours of tuition at CMU
How would you like to receive free tuition for a semester? KMSA, a student-run radio station at CMU, is going to make this a reality for one lucky person.
They'll be selling raffle tickets all semester for five bucks. The winner will receive 12 credit hours of in state tuition at CMU, which is valued at more than $4,000. Organizers say nothing like this has ever been done before.
“This is a very unique prize and we are the very first organization on Colorado Mesa University campus to offer such a thing. And as far as we know, we're the first organization in any university in the state to offer such a thing” said Kyle Davis, General Manager of KMSA.
“For a raffle ticket price of five dollars, I think that's worth the gamble. I'm really excited to hear that” said Dan Gilbert, Junior at CMU.
KMSA encourages the public to buy tickets as well, especially parents with students in high school. The prize can be redeemed until 2016. The drawing will take place at noon on December 3rd.
