Both lanes of eastbound I-70 traffic are again flowing at New Castle after fire crews battled a brush fire along the highway.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says traffic is restricted in the area about eight miles east of Silt.
According to the Glenwood Post Independent, fire crews suspect a discarded cigarette is to blame although an investigation is ongoing.
