Hwy 141 reopens after rock slide

MM 70 between Uravan, Naturita had been affected

UPDATE: At 12:54pm CDOT announced Highway 141 has reopened following cleanup of a rock slide.

ORIGINAL REPORT: According to CDOT, Highway 141 is closed near mile marker 70 due to a rock slide.

The slide occurred between Uravan and Naturita.

CDOT has no estimated time of when the highway will reopen.

According to Nancy Shanks, spokesperson for CDOT, a maintenance superintendent is on the scene and will provide more details about the extent of the slide as soon as possible.
