Highway 141 back open after flooding
Highway 141 through Unaweep Canyon is back open Sunday night after flooding had restricted traffic for nearly 24 hours.
Water was seen rushing across the roadway in several spots along a 14 mile stretch, according to CDOT. That forced crews to shut the highway down for a few hours on Saturday.
After the rain had subsided a bit, CDOT reopened one lane that evening while alternating traffic through the area.
As of 6:00 pm Sunday night, the road is fully open.
