GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -

We hear a lot about remembering those in need this time of year, but what about those serving our country?

Operation Interdependence is making sure those men and women aren't forgotten, continuing the tradition of delivering care packages to our troops.

The packages contain snacks, toiletries, games, and special notes written to our soldiers, but someone has to pack them all.

The group has several upcoming packing meetings where you can volunteer your time, and help out their cause.

The meetings take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:45 to 9 am and are during the following dates in December:

Mon. & Wed. December 9th &  12th

Mon. & Wed. 17th & 19th

Wed. 26th

Sat. 15th at 9 AM

Thu. 20th  at 7 PM
