Gun shot victim found in Eagle River ID'd
KJCT is learning more information about a body that was found in the Eagle River on Friday.
Authorities pulled a woman's body out of the river near Gypsum after a fisherman made the discovery.
Police found that the woman had been shot in the chest, making the find more suspicious.
The Eagle County Coroner identified the woman as 40-year-old Stephanie Brantley and determined that she did die as a result of being shot.
