BOULDER, Colo. -

Gun advocates are planning to hold a meeting in an attempt to flood Colorado with large-capacity gun magazines before lawmakers can set limits.

The meeting is being held March 16 in an effort to pre-empt a move by state lawmakers to ban the sale of gun magazines that carry more than 15 rounds of ammunition.

Longmont resident Savant Suykerbuyk tells the Boulder Daily Camera (http://tinyurl.com/d86jb8q ) he is asking gun suppliers to donate the equipment to show their support for gun rights.
