GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. -

Garfield County commissioners are planning to revisit a controversial oil shale resolution after pressure from community activists, according to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel.

We updated you on the controversy surrounding this meeting earlier this week when community group Grand Valley Citizens Alliance filed a lawsuit against the county.

Friday, Garfield County Commissioner Tom Jankovsky told the Daily Sentinel that they will think about withdrawing the resolution in hopes of resolving concerns over the meeting in Utah.
