More than two years after it closed its doors, the Glacier Ice Arena in Grand Junction is now for sale.

The bulding's owners say they were forced to shut down in 2010 because of a faulty ice refrigerator system. Instead of selling earlier, they tried recouping their costs by going after the company responsible.

This month, the owners say a Canadian arbitrator awarded them a settlement for the damages but that it is not enough to cover the costs that have piled up over the past two years.

The arena is listed with Coldwell Banker Home Owners Realty.
