Fruita Fall Fest wraps up
It’s been a busy weekend in Fruita. The 98th annual Fruita Fall Fest wrapped up, Sunday.
The three day event attracted over 50 thousand guests and 150 vendors.
It’s put on by the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce and acts as its biggest fundraiser
The free community event filled downtown Fruita with everything from food and rides, to races and a parade.
Vendors like A Couple of Stitches, look forward to this fall fest each year and say the event brings energy to the city.
“It’s great because it brings in new people, new clients, and people that have been here for years come back,” Verla MacDougall, with A Couple of Stitches, said.
Fruita’s Fall Fest is just two years away from its 100th anniversary.
A Couple of Stitches has watched the event grow from year to year.
It'll be back next September to celebrate again.
